The well-known story by Eric Carle comes to life in this participatory shadow play. Children will create animal shadow puppets out of paper. Once the puppets are completed, the children will move to the shadow stage for rehearsal of the story. A recorded narrative recited by Carlton, the Chameleon provides the audible backdrop as the children perform their puppets with the music from Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saens.

At the conclusion of the performance the children are free to keep their puppet creations. For Children of all ages (5 and up)
