Join us for a reception, exhibition and performance accompanied by live music when the residency ends.
Performance will begin at approximately 2:30 PM.

Watch the Art & Craft of Shadow Theater Demo


 

Enjoy a variety of arts experiences which combine to create the magical art of Shadow Play!

 

 

 

 

The class begins writing a group story from day one. This story will be performed during the residency culmination in early April.

 

 

 

Those who like to draw can design characters needed for the group story.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Carve and paint characters for the group story

 

 

 

 

Work on screen
Develop a character
Write and act out dialogue

 

 

 

Choreograph special effects and
action sequences

 

 

 

 

 

Rehearse as an ensemble with live music

 

 

 

 

 

Present the story in
culmination of the residency
